Hello! I’m glad you’re here. My name is Huy Truong, and I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with understanding and compassion. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in clinical mental health counseling from St. Cloud State University. Currently, I am a pre-licensed clinician because I am furthering my expertise by pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) in Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota (expected graduation May, 2029).
I approach therapy from an existential-humanistic perspective, focusing on helping clients find meaning, navigate life’s challenges, and connect with their authentic selves through a collaborative and non-judgemental space. While this foundation shapes my work, I also integrate techniques from other evidence-based approaches to tailor the therapy experience to your unique needs.
I believe that therapy is a partnership—your insights and experiences matter. Together, we will explore the path toward healing and growth, using a flexible and client-centered approach that draws from the bets of established therapeutic practices.
I am honored to walk alongside you on this journey towards greater clarity and fulfillment.
